Single-Layer Urea Toilet Seat Molding Machine
Han Chang manufactures this single-layer urea toilet seat molding machine for UF/UMC urea-formaldehyde molding compound. One working level accommodates one mold set, with heated platens and hydraulic holding pressure for toilet seat rings, lids, washbasins and other thermoset sanitary parts.

Machine advantages
After the operator loads the heated mold and presses start, the machine runs automatic core insertion, compression, degassing and pressure holding. The mold opens and the core withdraws before manual part removal. Standard Mitsubishi PLC control, a Fuji Electric touchscreen and recipe/parameter memory let operators save and recall established settings for repeat production.
Form hinge holes during molding
For toilet seat hinge features, the core pin automatically enters the mold before compression and withdraws as the mold opens after molding. The resulting hinge hole is formed around the pin, integrating hole formation into the molding sequence.
Set degassing to suit the compound
Programmable degassing allows up to 99 venting cycles. Operators can adjust the count to the UF/UMC compound and mold requirements, alongside the heating and pressure-holding conditions used for the part.
Recall settings for repeat orders
The standard Mitsubishi PLC and Fuji Electric touchscreen include recipe/parameter memory. Returning to a familiar product and mold starts with saved settings, reducing repeated parameter entry.
Plan production around one mold set
The single working level keeps manual loading, automatic compression and manual unloading centered on one mold set. It suits production organized around a single tool, with press force and platen space selected for that tool and its parts.
Hot compression and core pulling
Load the heated mold
The operator places UF/UMC molding compound into the already-heated mold and presses start.
Insert the hinge core
When molding toilet seat hinge holes, the core pin automatically enters the hinge position before compression begins.
Compress, degas and hold
The press automatically performs compression, degassing and pressure holding using the selected settings. The venting count is adjustable up to 99 cycles.
Open, withdraw and unload
After molding, the mold opens and the core pin withdraws automatically, leaving the molded toilet seat hinge hole. The operator removes the part.
Materials and sanitary applications
Toilet seat rings and lids
With the corresponding molds, the UF toilet seat cover molding press produces rings and lids for complete toilet seat sets. Hinge-hole features can be formed using the standard core-pulling system.
UF/UMC washbasins
The press also supports washbasin compression molding. Basin shape and depth, together with mold height, guide the choice of platen space, daylight and part-removal clearance.
Other thermoset sanitary parts
Other sanitary components made from UF/UMC compound can be produced with suitable molds. Part shape, wall thickness, surface requirements and tooling geometry guide the molding setup.

Start with a product photo or drawing, or the dimensions of a mold you already own. Han Chang helps match press force to the compound’s molding-pressure requirements, projected part area and cavity layout, then checks platen fit, mold height and unloading clearance.
Standard equipment and technical support
A safety light curtain, CE and Japanese-brand oil seals are standard, together with core pulling, PLC/touchscreen control and recipe/parameter memory.
Send fault videos, control-screen images, alarm messages and machine-motion details through the website’s messaging channels. Han Chang technicians provide diagnostic, inspection and adjustment guidance for issues that can be addressed remotely.
Discuss your power supply, frequency, floor space and operator handling arrangements during selection. IoT is available as an option and can be included in your inquiry.
Buyer questions
What does single-layer mean on this toilet seat press?
It describes the machine: one working level accommodates one mold set. It does not describe the material layers in the finished seat. Mold-set count and cavity count are also different; the cavity layout depends on the part, tool design and press specifications.
Which materials and products can this machine process?
The press processes UF/UMC urea-formaldehyde molding compound into rings and lids for complete toilet seat sets, washbasins and other thermoset sanitary parts. Each product uses a corresponding mold, with the press selected to suit its size and molding requirements.
How does automatic core pulling form the hinge hole?
The operator loads compound into the heated mold and starts the cycle. The core pin enters the toilet seat hinge position before compression, degassing and pressure holding. After molding, the mold opens and the pin withdraws, leaving a molded hinge hole. The operator then removes the part.
Does every part need 99 degassing cycles?
No. The machine allows a setting of up to 99 venting cycles. The actual count is adjusted to the UF/UMC compound and mold requirements; 99 is the programmable maximum, not a fixed production setting.
Can I use an existing toilet seat mold?
Send the mold drawing or its overall dimensions to discuss compatibility. The main checks are platen fit, mold height, daylight and stroke, followed by fastening, heating, core-pulling compatibility and clearance for removing the part.
How should I choose press tonnage and platen size?
Press force depends on the molding-pressure requirement, projected part area and cavity layout. Platen dimensions must accommodate the tool, while daylight and stroke must suit mold height and part removal. Selecting these together is more useful than choosing by tonnage alone.
What is included as standard, and is IoT optional?
Standard equipment includes Mitsubishi PLC control, a Fuji Electric touchscreen, recipe/parameter memory, automatic core pulling, a safety light curtain, CE and Japanese-brand oil seals. Adjustable automatic degassing supports up to 99 venting cycles, and remote technical support is standard. IoT is optional.
Can operators recall settings after changing molds?
Yes. Recipe/parameter memory stores settings for later recall. When returning to the corresponding mold and compound, operators can use the saved conditions as the starting point for the next production run.
What do you need to quote a toilet seat molding machine?
A product photo or drawing is enough to start the discussion. Share the UF/UMC compound and existing mold details if available. Han Chang then works through target output, cavity layout, press force, platen space, factory power and requested options to recommend a configuration and prepare a quotation.
Find the right press for your UF toilet seat project
Send Han Chang a product photo, drawing or existing mold dimensions. You do not need to choose the tonnage first—we can work from your parts and production plans to recommend a single-layer press configuration and provide a quotation.
